Our Bicycle Tour starts with a short boat trip crossing the river from Hoi An to reach the beautiful island of Cam kim.

During the tour, we will visit a number of families who are making delicious noodle named My Quang noodles, home made rice wine and weave colorful straw sleeping mats. We will have plenty of chances to chat with them and ask questions to learn about their history, local customs and way of life.

On this tour we will visit Mr Dau, a local rice wine maker family. He is also a war veteran who returned from the conflict between Vietnam and Cambodia (1979 to 1986) in 1984 having lost a leg when he stepped on a landmine in Cambodia. Visiting Mr Dau and his lovely family at their home is always one of the most popular and interesting parts of this cycling tour. Mr Dau will greet you with his incredible smile and tell you fascinating stories about his life. This is a rare opportunity to really connect with the local people and learn about their life past and present. He will also be delighted to answer your question and may play the guitar and sing you a song if you’re lucky!

We will also enjoy local lunch cooked by the family to experience the real taste of Hoi An. During the tour, we will also learn about the traditional farming methods, see water buffaloes and witness the fishermen setting up and harvesting their nets. If you are looking for the real Hoi An, join us for this delightful morning.
